At the start on a new year I like to reflect and think about what makes us shine….
This simple Question is a combination of reflection and a time created to make us pause and be aware.
Here is a little challenge…..
Grab a journal and a few pens - find some alone time and get to it. Make it easy to do - stick to one word answers and get as many ideas down on paper as you can manage. This process of bringing the awareness to written vision is your number one key to identify and make changes happen with intention.
THE EXERCISE:
Draw a line down the middle of your page - label one side MORE & one side LESS
Let the ideas flow - what do you feel is working well in your day to day life? Are you following your dreams, achieving your goals, living joyfully? Do your days pass with ease? Are the people you chose to connect with inspiring and do they align with where you want your life to go?
All of these answers can be added to the MORE list
Once you have taken the time to complete your MORE list, go for phase two - what is the LESS list?
This will be things that irritate you, bring you into habits that you wished you avoided, hanging out with people who bring you down or who drain your energy.
